Where creative play builds life skills - and children learn by
being themselves.

Community Playhouse is a holiday club where children learn essential life skills through play, imagination, and self-expression.

We provide a safe, supportive space where children can build confidence, develop communication and teamwork skills, and explore their creativity—all while being themselves. Through fun, engaging activities, we focus on growth, connection, and individuality rather than pressure or performance.

Our holiday clubs are for ages from Reception to Year 6.

Cooking classes

Why do we love cooking so much with the children?

Cooking and preparing food helps children build real-life independence and confidence, as they learn “I can do this myself.” Measuring, mixing and following recipes quietly support maths, reading, science and fine motor skills in a hands-on way.

It also encourages healthier eating habits and responsibility, as children are more likely to try new foods they’ve helped to make and learn how to work safely and hygienically in the kitchen.

Day trips

What kind of trips do we go on with the children?

Our day trips give children fun, safe opportunities to explore new places and enjoy exciting activities. Trips are carefully planned, age-appropriate, and fully supervised by qualified staff, with safety measures in place.

They help build confidence, social skills, and create memories.
